Clive is a safe, family-friendly community located at the axis between the western suburbs of Urbandale, Waukee and West Des Moines. Situated at the crossroads of I-80 and I-35, Clive offers convenience and accessibility. Clive boasts 297 acres of public parkland. It is especially known for the Clive Greenbelt Trail – an 11.3-mile, paved recreational trail that winds through the city and connects to other extensive trail systems. It is also home to the Clive Aquatic Center and a public library. Residents enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the area.
Clive is served by both the West Des Moines Community School District and the Waukee School District (west of NW 142nd Street).
